Travis James Humphrey was born in northern Maine. He learned his trade from his father, Tim Humphrey. After high school, Travis served with the United States Air Force as a Bandsman for 8 years. He returned home to Maine in 2003.

Since then, Travis has worked hard to build a following person by person, room by room. On any given Tuesday through Saturday night, you can find him somewhere in his beloved home state of Maine singing for folks who care. For him, that's living the dream.

Travis has opened shows for B.B. King, Ricky Skaggs, David Alan Coe, Roy Clark, Marty Stuart, Bill Chinnock, Blackberry Smoke, Michael Peterson, Jason Aldean, Steve Azar, Andy Griggs, Don Campbell, David Mallett, The Mallett Brothers Band, Chris Ross & the North, Johnny Hiland, and many other fine artists, both as a solo performer and as a backing guitarist for other feature performers.

Travis has released four studio albums as a civilian: "YellowCat Blues" (2002), "Cowgirl Romance" (2006), "Dirty Beautiful World" (2010), and "The Roadhouse Gospel Hour" (2014).
